WOODYS celebrates a decade with release of limited editions

Woodys is celebrating a decade of “challenges, changes, transformation, success and above all fellowship”. Josep Dosta, founder and CEO, said: “Woodys is not just a brand, it’s a story created by a big family”. The brand first launched in 2013 when Dosta was wakesurfing. One day whilst training, as often happened, he dropped his goggles in the water, and had an idea: to create a pair of floating sunglasses. He began investigating until he discovered that the key was in the sheets covering the wakeboard, and Woodys was born right there. The brnad started with wooden glasses and explored new territories and materials, evolving the brand and the product through the years.

To commemorate the anniversary, Woodys is relaunching two of its most iconic models, Bee and Panos. Model Bee is a combined woman’s model and one of the brand’s signature structures; model Panos was a best-seller in the men’s sunglasses range, with an original wooden frame redesigned with high quality Italian acetate. The two designs return to the collection with the same structures and with new colours, designed to express Woodys look and style in 2023.

Woodys are also launching the special limited edition, ICON X combination sunglasses. Designed to reflect the essence of Woodys through colour, quality, design, and uniqueness, the styles in this collection are made from premium Italian acetate and metal.
