VALENTINO EYEWEAR in l’École show
- By Editorial Team
- October 27, 2023
The Valentino L’Ecole collection by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli served to highlight the body, in a celebration of femininity and humanity. A reflection of an ideology, an expression of intimacy and individuality, the result conveys a fundamentally feminist aim – independence of the body from the male gaze or societal expectation, an agency.
To complete the Spring/Summer 2024 looks, Pierpaolo Piccioli brings the iconic Valentino III and Valentino IV frames on the runway of Valentino L’École show. Effortlessly combining the Valentino design aesthetic with an authentic urban vibe, the model Valentino III is described as “rock chic alchemy done right”.
A narrow geometric shape that belies its elaborate sculpting, expansive volume and deep dimensionality, Valentino Tre is crafted from chunky Japanese acetate. The model Valentino IV has a sensual yet distinctly modern cat-eye design, crafted in Japan in thickset Japanese acetate and features sun lenses in rich, complimentary hues.
Functional embellishments include chic clusters of iconic Valentino tridimensional titanium Valentino Rock-stud-inspired temple tips. Valentino Eyewear is produced by Akoni Group.
