Thélios, the LVMH Group’s eyewear division, has once again served as the official eyewear sponsor of the 2026 Venice Film Festival. According to the company, the partnership, launched in 2022, reaffirms the bond between Thélios and one of the world’s most prestigious and renowned film events—a global touchstone for the worlds of cinema, art, and contemporary culture. Thélios’s presence at the Festival celebrates the profound connection between cinema and eyewear: two realms united by their ability to express identity, style, and creative vision. Throughout the history of film, eyewear has played a key role in defining iconic characters and timeless imagery, becoming a distinctive element of cinematic aesthetics.
“We are proud to continue our collaboration with the Venice International Film Festival,” says Alessandro Zanardo, CEO of Thélios. “This event represents a pinnacle of Italian culture recognized worldwide and offers us a special opportunity to celebrate the dialogue between creativity, savoir-faire, and craftsmanship. We share deep-seated values with the Festival, such as attention to detail, a commitment to aesthetics, and a strong bond with the Veneto region.”

With its production in Longarone, in the heart of the Belluno region, Thélios continues to promote the excellence of Italian craftsmanship and “Made in Italy” worldwide, through an approach that combines innovation, quality, and superior manufacturing expertise, the company adds. During the event, celebrities wearing eyewear brands produced by the eyewear sponsor included Maggie Gyllenhaal, Claire Foy, Carlotta Gamba, Pamela Anderson and Akinola Davies Jr.
