The Mondelliani boutique in Rome hosted the presentation of CLETO MUNARI EYEWEAR

The Mondelliani store in via dei Prefetti 11 in Rome, Italy was chosen for the official launch of the Cleto Munari eyewear collection. The presentation took place on 21st September in the presence of the artist and the owners of Mondelliani, Federico Mondello (Founder and CEO) and his mother Rosaria Riccioli (Founder).
Passionate about glasses, design accessories and art since 1961, the “Mondelliani” family business has distinguished itself over the years as a reference in Rome for innovative and unconventional designer glasses, making it a unique venue for the launch of the new collection.
Cleto Munari is an Italian-based designer with a career that has spanned 5 decades in the world of industrial design, furniture, art and jewellery.
The new 14-piece eyewear collection by Munari – offering 10 optical models, two sunglasses and two limited edition frames – is made from Italian acetate produced by Mazzucchelli 1849. The steel hinges ensure resistance and high performance. The concept of each element of the collection is studied in detail and respects the commitment to guarantee a sustainable, ethical and transparent supply chain. For the packaging, paper from responsibly managed sources has been selected, while for the cases Italian leather is used, produced in compliance with environmental and management standards. The lens cleaning cloths are made in Italy from high quality microfibre.
