Blackfin introduces its new stand, The Black Shadow, in conjunction with the company’s return to Silmo, the Paris trade show. The stand will then journey on to the other leading international eyewear industry exhibitions in the months ahead.
Named ‘The Black Shadow’, the stand has been created to “call to mind the elegant, discreet presence of a shadow, an element that is not limited to reflecting the object that creates it, but that transforms it into a unique visual and sensory experience”. The stand is seen as a projection of Blackfin’s Black Shelter – the company’s certified sustainable facility in Italy – a place that, through its bold lines and refined materials (like black metal, glass and wood), expresses the brand’s values in palpable form. Thanks to an innovative use of digital tools, The Black Shadow is an immersive space where technology delivers a narration of the Blackfin story and evolution.
Describing the HQ which inspired the stand, the Blackfin team explains that the Black Shelter is not only the corporate headquarters of the Italian brand but also the tangible expression of the Blackfin production model, based on the concept of ‘neomadeinitaly’: eyewear authentically made in Italy, with respect to the environment and to the people who, with dedication and passion, bring each piece into existence. In this space, the harmony between a local zone (that is a UNESCO heritage site) and the architecture of the building conveys deep-seated values, offering everyone the opportunity to immerse themselves in an environment designed to promote well-being and creativity.
