In the new sabrinarégéturo AW 26-27 optical collection, the allure of the 1990s takes centre stage, reinterpreted through iconic silhouettes, bold proportions and a particular focus on materials. Premium acetate is explored through a play of volumes, transparencies and layered colour combinations. Sculpted fronts add depth to the frames, while gold-tone metal introduces a jewellery-inspired dimension: hinges engraved with the brand’s logo, ribbed metal cores and luminous accents on the temple tips transform structural details into distinctive style elements. Retro inspirations take shape through different interpretations.
Model Moena revisits the pilot silhouette borrowed from menswear, softening its proportions and highlighting the sculpted bridge through unexpected colour contrasts, such as black with a yellow tortoiseshell interior and the turquoise Laguna version. More delicate and refined, model Cervinia expresses understated sophistication, with colourcombinations ranging from mottled khaki to white acetate paired with mother-of-pearl temples. The Nineties attitude emerges more boldly in model Selva, a wraparound rectangular frame featuring a sculpted front and statement temples, available in tortoiseshell patterns, striped textures and intense shades.
Model Aosta explores the oversized rectangular shape through lighter lines and carefully craftedacetate, enhancing the depth of colour, from the deep blue tortoiseshell of Fantasy to the translucentplum of Prugna.
The butterfly silhouette finds a fresh interpretation in model Annecy, characterised by generousproportions and sophisticated colour combinations, such as the plum and lilac multilayer acetate of the Sinfonia version. Completing the collection is a coordinated accessory set that extends the eyewear aesthetic intoeveryday life: a black pouch with a geometric-print interior, designed to hold both glasses and a smartphone, a soft eyewear case that attaches like a charm, and a versatile chain that can also beworn as a shoulder strap.
