ROMEO GIGLI EYEWEAR proposes summer through a new light

For the summer season, Romeo Gigli Eyewear takes its aesthetic research into the realm of light, where sunglasses “become the meeting point between material, colour, and perception”. The acetate is modeled like fabric, alternating solid surfaces and transparencies reminiscent of light organza, while the volumes naturally outline the face, accompanying its features without interrupting their harmony. The gradient lenses delicately filter the light, creating soft, deep hues that transform every landscape into a more intimate vision. The palette encompasses absolute blacks, mineral greens, intense blues, warm Havanas, and amber transparencies, creating a refined balance between chromatic depth and visual lightness. Each colour interacts with the ready-to-wear collection, becoming part of a single aesthetic narrative. The silhouettes range from bold, architectural geometries to contemporary cat-eyes and minimalist titanium frames, creating a collection capable of interpreting different personalities through a shared language of balance, research, and sensitivity.

Romeo Gigli Eyewear was conceived as a natural extension of the fashion house’s creative universe, translating its language of research, balance between form and materiality, and refined aesthetic sensibility into the world of eyewear. Each collection reinterprets the brand’s identity through frames that engage in dialogue with the prêt-à-porter collections, expressing a sophisticated, contemporary and instantly recognizable vision. Handcrafted in Italy, the collection is the result of an artisanal process comprising 48 production stages. Each frame is crafted from premium acetate sheets made with 80% cellulose, combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with advanced manufacturingtechniques. Sculptural volumes, bold thicknesses and sophisticated lamination methods define a distinctive aesthetic, striking a perfect balance between design innovation and exceptional craftsmanship. The Romeo Gigli Eyewear collection is developed and manufactured under license by Vision Up & Logoservice. Distribution across the Italian market is entrusted to Vision Group, through its VisionOttica stores and the Vision Group affiliated retail network.
