Preparations already underway for MIDO 2026

The international eyewear industry will once again gather at Fiera Milano Rho for the MIDO | Milan Eyewear Show, taking place from 31st January to 2nd February, 2026. This change in scheduling—earlier than in previous years—aims to avoid overlapping with the 2026 Winter Olympics, ensuring a seamless and enhanced experience for all attendees. According to the organisers, the move means exhibitors and visitors will enjoy Milan at a unique moment—a city energized by its Olympic preparations but free from the crowding and logistical challenges of the Olympic period. Attendees will benefit from revitalized public spaces, upgraded infrastructure, expanded cultural offerings, and improved transport networks, making their MIDO experience even more dynamic and rewarding. MIDO continues to be the benchmark global event for the eyewear sector, attracting opticians, manufacturers, designers, buyers, distributors, journalists, and industry professionals. 

The 2025 edition welcomed 1,200 exhibitors, 42,000 visitors from 168 countries, and over 16,000 exhibitor staff during the three-day show. Media coverage was equally impressive, with 400+ accredited journalists, 590+ media coverages, and over 3 million views of MIDO-generated content—a 50% increase from the previous year.
