NEUBAU announces two new optical styles

From neubau eyewear, two new optical models offering avant-garde shapes will be exclusively presented at this year’s SILMO in Paris. Each frame is produced in sustainable materials, ensuring durability and comfort without compromising on style, the company says. Model Gabriel follows the approach of a modern aviator highlighting a classic shape with a contemporary twist. Underlined by a distinct colour palette, ranging from deep tones such as dark tortoise and black to subtle, fashionable colours such as crystal clear and green, model Gabriel offers individuality for each character. Model Celine reflects current trends as a new version of a timeless butterfly shape. Cooler, state-of-the-art colours such as rose and grey, as well as bold tones of dark tortoise and black create a highlight piece with a real distinctiveness.

The models are made of 100% plant-based acetate with a temple of high-quality Beta-titanium. The Natural Acetate used by neubau is a purely plant-based material composition of cotton and wood. Contrary to traditional acetates, this sustainable material – says the team – is made without harmful components and uses only plant-based plasticizers. As a result, the material is considered biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
