The MYKITA x LEICA collaborative collection continues to evolve with refined silhouettes and colour styles: model ML18 is a lightweight crown panto sunglass model; ML19 is a slender, perfectly round optical frame – both models feature the distinctive knurled pattern on the temples, and a range of matt metallic colourways. Sunglasses ML16 and optical model ML17 represent the new hybrid concept: angular navigator and aviator silhouettes crafted from stainless steel and fitted with slender rings of MYLON® – MYKITA’s signature high-tech material. The result is a visual and tactile interplay between matt surfaces and metallic precision. New colourway Light Champagne Gold is applied across existing styles. Each MYKITA x Leica frame is handmade at the MYKITA HAUS in Berlin, combining seamless mechanical solutions with refined material connections that mirror the precision and clarity of Leica’s iconic instruments. The familiar contours of the Leica lens hood are echoed in frame shapes; the knurled grip detail on lenses appears on bridge and temple surfaces. The minimalist palette centres around black and grey with accents of red, silver, gold, and white – colours deeply embedded in the Leica universe.
