MODO expands its R1000 Collection with two new optical frames, designs that combine expressive design with advanced material innovation. Engineered for everyday performance, the new styles deliver qualities of lightness, flexibility, and durability—hallmarks of the R1000 platform. Model 7078 makes a confident statement with its bold, angular silhouette, offered in green teal, red pink tortoise, violet, and classic black. For those seeking a softer aesthetic, model 7079 features a refined pantos shape in brown tortoise, dusk blue, mustard, and matt black, offering timeless appeal with a modern edge. Both frames are crafted using R1000 memory plastic fronts, a proprietary material developed to provide superior shape retention, impact resistance, and long-lasting comfort. Designed to adapt to daily wear, R1000 offers enhanced flexibility while maintaining structural integrity, helping frames return to their original shape even after repeated use, the company states. The fronts are paired with ultra-flexible titanium temples, further reducing weight while increasing strength and comfort.
