MIGA STUDIO adopts “renaissance sculptural approach”

For the Spring/Summer release Miga Studio adopts a renaissance sculptural approach to eyewear, where solids and voids poetically intersect to create a new definition of flexibility. Inspired by the art of engineering and flexibility, the new collection embodies resilience and grace, in a blend of form and function for an evolving approach to eyewear design focused on innovation, comfort and unexpected combinations. True to the brand’s timeless elegance, the S/S 2026 collection will appeal to a global audience, the company says, allowing it to be interpreted and worn and always assuring a bold statement. Among the concepts featured is Kōji, inspired by the harmony of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern innovation. Carved from a full block of the lightest aluminium, an innovative interplay of solids and voids create a flexibility in the temples. Each pair of frames reflects beauty in simplicity and transient elegance, while embracing cutting-edge engineering reminiscent of ancient Japanese artisans.

The rim inserts give a 3-dimensional depth to the front, while the “car surface” oil finishes add a high-tech feel. With Kōji, wearers experience a blend of tradition and innovation, where flexibility meets timeless style, allowing eyewear to adapt gracefully to any face. Following the Japanese meaning of Kaizen, “continuous improvement”, the sophisticated merging of acetate and aluminium has become smoother, in a balance of volumes. The Kaizen Thin collection pursues the need for lightness and leisure in contemporary times. The sleek styling of the equilibrium between the monoblock titanium and the aluminium inserts is highlighted by unexpected colour combinations.
