MIDO 2024 will open its doors on 3rd February 2024 at Fieramilano Rho. Describing it as “the paramount international eyewear tradeshow”, the event will attract a diverse array of professionals worldwide, including opticians, buyers, distributors, and journalists. Beyond being a mere display of the latest trends and technology, MIDO serves as a dynamic hub for industry insights, collaborative ventures, and forward-thinking dialogues. It not only unveils cutting-edge machinery and lenses but also fosters a space for idea exchange, equipped with tools to explore the multifaceted eyewear supply chain.
The 52nd edition of the fair marks a significant return also from Asian countries, featuring almost 1,200 exhibitors from varied countries like Germany, France, Spain, UK, the USA, and Japan, populating the 7 pavilions sprawled across Fieramilano Rho, now expanded to an impressive exhibition area. Showcasing 8 distinct areas, from the Fashion District to MIDO Tech, Lenses, Design, Design Tech, Academy, Start-up, and FAiR East, the event agenda teems with enriching workshops, seminars, and round tables catering to industry professionals, covering an extensive array of topics from technological advancements to sustainability and inclusive practices.
MIDO 2024 prides itself on a comprehensive programme offering practical insights through sessions like HOW TO? for optical centers and engaging discussions on Beauty, Design, and Passion featuring esteemed guests.
Amidst the event’s grandeur, MIDO orchestrates a lively awards ceremony recognizing excellence and sustainability initiatives within the eyewear sector. The BeStore Award honors exceptional shopping experiences, Stand Up For Green environmentally conscious stands, and the Certified Sustainable Eyewear (CSE) Award, a collaborative evaluation of global sustainability efforts in the industry.
From 3rd to 5th February, MIDO 2024 promises an immersive experience at Fieramilano, boasting innovation and cooperation from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Monday.
