MARCOLIN launches new “Marcolin Talks” series

“Visions” was the theme of the first meeting in the ‘Marcolin Talks’ series, a new format created by the company, and presented in the Milan showroom on Thursday 19th October 2023.

The talks aim to open a discussion on a large number of different topics, from Made in Italy and the importance of Italian manufacturing, to sustainability and green washing, as well as the relationship between everyday life and artificial intelligence, diversity and inclusion and female empowerment. During the meeting, three special guests spoke: Stefania Lazzaroni, General Manager of Fondazione Altagamma, Federico Garcea, Founder and CEO of Treedom and Francesco Oggiano, Digital Journalist of Will Media.


They were joined by Clara Magnanini, Group Communication Director of Marcolin, who moderated the panel during the evening. At the end of the guest speeches, Fabrizio Curci, CEO & General Manager of Marcolin, underlined the importance of and his pride in having launched the new space to generate ideas.

The company’s goal is to stimulate conversation that goes beyond the optical industry, giving people the tools to see different perspectives, inspiring transformation and stimulating cultural debate.

Marcolin stated that the Marcolin Talk series will soon become a fixed and itinerant event, traveling to Marcolin’s international hubs in Europe, the United States and Asia, with the aim of actively involving and making an integral part of the discussion all stakeholders and partners operating in its various key markets.
