Marchon Eyewear’s ZEISS wins 2024 Red Dot Award

Marchon Eyewear, Inc. and ZEISS are proud to announce they have won the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2024 in the category of Ready For Market – Watches, Jewellery and Eyewear.

The Red Dot Design Award is a prestigious international annual design competition for product and industrial design, brand and communication design, and design concepts. This year, The Red Dot: Best of the Best has been awarded to VisionClip, a ZEISS frame designed by Marchon Eyewear. VisionClip, part of the ZEISS Autumn/Winter 2024 eyewear collection, is the visionary expression of ZEISS’ dynamism for new, empowered vision experiences.

VisionClip (ZS24157LPMAG-SET) is a full-rim titanium frame designed in a timeless navigator shape, featuring a double bridge construction complemented with wafer-thin, high-tech beta titanium temples complete with laser cut engineering, making them lightweight, flexible, and durable with a refined look. Merging timeless design and revolutionary technology, the frame includes an easy-to-apply magnetic clip-on piece in Ultem® resin with ZEISS LightPro Technology® sun lenses which provide excellent contrast and depth perception, allowing clear readability of digital screens, an essential in today’s world.

The innovative Ultem® resin clip offers flexibility and elasticity coupled with resistance to deformation, impact, and high heat resistance. Rounding out the design, the clip features an embedded side shield to increase stability, providing versatility and allowing the wearer to switch easily between a sun and optical style.
