LINDBERG Block Titanium wins Red Dot Design Award

LINDBERG’s newly launched blok titanium collection has won the Red Dot Design Award 2026 in the Eyewear category, part of the Product Design Discipline. According to LINDBERG, this recognition emphasises the collection’s unparalleled fusion of technical ingenuity, minimalist Danish design, and visionary craftsmanship. The Red Dot label has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after marks of quality for good design. The jury consists of 44 international experts from different specialist areas. Each product is assessed individually for its level of innovation, functionality, and longevity. With front and hinges laser-cut from a single titanium sheet, LINDBERG’s new collection line blok titanium is described as “bending the rules”. Expanding the universe of LINDBERG’s cylindric hinges into a bold cubic dimension, its patented hinge is precision-twisted without screws, innovating the iconic design into a bold cubic form and marking a new chapter for LINDBERG engineering. The angular, full-frame titanium design offers a sculptural identity for a broader audience. With infinite combinations of titanium and groove colours, blok titanium balances industrial edge with personal expression. “Receiving the Red Dot Design Award for the blok collection is a remarkable honour, as it celebrates our enduring commitment to pushing the boundaries of design. After 40 years, LINDBERG keeps proving itself as an industry innovation leader,” said Roberto Vedovotto, Founder, President, and CEO of Kering Eyewear, which owns LINDBERG.
