L.G.R launch limited edition with The St. Regis Rome

L.G.R is releasing a new collaboration edition with The St. Regis Rome on the occasion of the hotel’s 130th anniversary. The special commemorative model for the hotel, has been produced with particular attention to social responsibility by supporting Sightsavers Italia ETS for the second consecutive year. Part of the proceeds from the exclusive sale will support the activities in Africa of the organization committed for over seventy years in the fight against avoidable blindness.

Made as an exclusive and new edition, the frame is one of L.G.R’s best-sellers: the Gondar sunglasses, a classic and timeless design, with a square silhouette boasting soft lines, with rhomboid metal rivets for a retro touch, and a hand-polished black cellulose acetate frame. The anti-reflective and anti-scratch lenses with a Sunbrown shade guarantee 100% UV protection and are treated with an oleophobic and hydrophobic coating, the company explains.

The new edition was presented officially during a special evening dedicated to the excellence of craftsmanship at The St. Regis Rome. The event was attended by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone, Founder/CEO of L.G.R, Barbara Abbruzzese, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Sightsavers and Giuseppe De Martino, General Manager, St. Regis Rome.
