L.G.R Heritage collection to debut at Silmo

L.G.R will unveil the new Heritage Collection at SILMO Paris, from September 25th to 28th, 2026. Visitors are invited to discover the collection at Hall 7 | Stand G071, where L.G.R will present this new chapter of its optical offering for the first time. Created for Autumn/Winter 2026/27, the Heritage Collection represents the highest expression of L.G.R’s Italian craftsmanship. Rooted in the history of the brand and shaped by generations of savoir-faire, the collection brings together heritage, technical precision and an uncompromising approach to quality.
The collection comprises four optical models, Emma, Ludovico, Bruno and Mezghebo, each offered in three colourways and in either glossy or matte finishes, for a total of twelve frames. Their names establish a personal connection with the history of L.G.R: Emma and Ludovico are named after founder Luca Gnecchi Ruscone’s parents, while Bruno and Mezghebo pay tribute to two figures closely connected to his grandfather Raffaello Bini and the history of Ottica Bini.
Each frame is handcrafted in Italy from premium 8 mm Mazzucchelli acetate, selected for its depth, stability and exceptional finishing quality. The construction introduces a series of distinctive details developed specifically for Heritage. Custom front rivets take their shape from the characteristic windows of Ottica Bini, creating a subtle link between the architecture of the historic store and the eyewear itself. The temples are thermoformed to achieve balance and comfort, enriched with refined metal inlays and laser-engraved details. Custom-developed galvanic metal elements meticulously reinterpret the window decorations of Ottica Bini, transforming an architectural reference into a distinctive design signature.
Every element reflects L.G.R’s philosophy of deliberate slowness: precise gestures, patience and time devoted to each stage of production. Nothing is rushed. The result is an optical collection where craftsmanship is expressed through construction, material and detail. The Heritage Collection is completed by exclusive dedicated packaging, including a newly designed case, presentation box, booklet, Founder’s card and oversized cleaning cloth.
