L.A.EYEWORKS announce release of new collection for MIDO 2024

For Spring/Summer 2024, l.a.Eyeworks energizes the optical atmosphere with an imaginative medley of twelve optical designs and a suite of five sunglasses, including the introduction of more than thirty new astonishing colours that await your discovery. A mixture of original silhouettes, the collection is a multi-faceted display of artisanal skill played out in crisp edges, adventurous geometry, and gently rounded volumes. True to the genetic code of l.a.Eyeworks, tone, temperature and pattern play commanding roles in the construction and perception of the designs. 

Wide-ranging as the collection may be, it is bound together by a unifying idea that eyewear is not only an amplifier of physical appearance but also a conduit to arousing a wearer’s creativity and originality.

To that end, the Spring/Summer offerings are accompanied by a stream of artist-driven projects, including four new additions to l.a.Eyeworks’ long-running series of artist-designed cleaning cloths. This new edition features a multi-generational roster of Los Angeles-based artists that includes Gabriela Ruiz, Marc Pally, Karen Carson, and Edgar Arceneaux. Ruiz assumed an additional artistic role, creating the colour-drenched, vaporous dreamscapes that serve as backdrops for this season’s portrait campaign and its potent subtitle: UNCENSORED VISIONS. 

l.a.Eyeworks will formally launch the Spring/Summer 2024 collection at MIDO from 3rd to 5th February 2024 (Pavilion 2, Stand T50/T54).
