KUNOQVIST highlights colour, form and attitude

KunoQvist presents its Autumn Collection 2026: a collection where modern design, playful expression and high quality come together in a carefully considered whole, according to producers, Opo Scandinavia. With iconic lines, graphic details and balanced colour combinations, frames with a clear identity and personality are created. The result is expressive models that enhance the face and allow the wearer to elevate their own style. Lines have become an iconic feature of the KunoQvist collection. By working with metal in a light and precise manner, the design team creates a sense of movement and energy. The lines are used both subtly and more prominently, giving each model a unique character. One example is the women’s model Lysekil, where the frame lifts the face through the airy material at the top of the front. A further development of this theme can also be seen in the combination frames Laxvik and Ockero, where the patterned effect is highlighted in the temples and, together with colour and shimmer, creates a tailored and feminine expression.
A new graphic expression is introduced in the collection, inspired by a Scandinavian approach to decoration. In model Fjallbacka, classic KunoQvist colours meet a perforated front that creates a distinctive aesthetic. The small perforations give a subtle, almost rhinestone-like effect, allowing the wearer’s own colouring to interact with the design. Two reinterpretations of the pilot shape are presented for men. Model Skarhamn combines metal and acetate in a bold front with a strong expression, whilst Kungalv offers a lighter interpretation with nylon thread and a thin, faceted front – a signature detail of KunoQvist. The collection is also complemented by two larger models (size 57): the acetate frame Malmon with nose pads and flex hinges, and the metal frame Hoganas featuring playful colour combinations.
The KunoQvist brand is characterised by modern design with clear and distinctive details. Colour plays a leading role in the collection – “sometimes subtle and elegant, at other times surprising and vibrant, but always carefully balanced to highlight both form and expression”.
