Installation hosted by ØRGREEN Studios
Ørgreen Studios, the Copenhagen showroom of the international eyewear brand Ørgreen Optics, presents its latest art-related event, an installation during the highly anticipated 3 Days of Design event. Curated by the design duo GamFratesi, the installation drew inspiration from the tranquillity and elegance of Japanese traditions, reflecting the essence of KOYORI’s brand.
The space was adorned with a captivating collection of chairs and tables designed by the esteemed Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec and GamFratesi, transforming functional products into exquisite wooden sculptures. The installation aimed to create an immersive experience that evokes a profound sense of calmness, meditation, and tranquillity. A highlight of the event included a special presentation by acclaimed designers Ronan Bouroullec and GamFratesi on 8th June, during which attendees had the opportunity to gain invaluable insights into the design process and the inspirations behind the exceptional collection.
“We are thrilled to have hosted this exceptional installation at Ørgreen Studios, showcasing the visionary designs of GamFratesi and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec”, said Henrik Ørgreen, Founder of Ørgreen Studios. “This installation has truly captured the essence of KOYORI and brings together the harmonious fusion of Japanese aesthetics and contemporary design, which is a fundamental aspect of Ørgreen Optics as well”.
