HEADRIX is adding a little more colour to its line to be released at Opti 2024. Having added inlays to the collection in the spring of this year, which give the glasses a uniquely coloured frame, the latest innovation on the theme of colour plays with a new multi-coloured concept. The Ara frame is the first model in the AI collection at Headrix in which the development and design process relies on a workflow supported by applications based on artificial intelligence. The new frame offers the possibility of elegant colour combinations, with coloured sections characterising the front of the product.

Cost-efficiency played an important role for HEADRIX in the development of these multicoloured frames, they explain. “It was therefore important to use the installation space available for industrial 3D printing as effectively as possible keeping production costs stable. This is how we could ensure that the price of the new AI Collection would also fit with the price range of previous HEADRIX collections”.
