Heading towards spring at METROPOLITAN EYEWEAR

Among the latest developments announced by the Metropolitan design team is a new urban acetate frame – model 8286 – designed for men. The frame offers a fashionable square shape, characterised by a soft, continuous top line, creating an interesting interplay of contrasts. The colour palette includes masculine shades in glossy and satin matt, giving this frame a contemporary “bold” look.

Similarly, the men’s style 8116, made of high-quality block titanium, emphasises, quality, individuality and an eye-catching masculine style. The frame offers a rectangular shape and a double bridge that provides additional expression. Striking details such as steps on the upper bridge and titanium temples with direct support create a purist look, while a spring hinge ensures comfort. The masculine colour variants include plain and gradient hues.

For women, the new Metropolitan style 8285 is described as a model that combines character and fashion. The panto shape plays with contrasts, emphasised by bolder material at the top and a fine eye rim at the bottom. Equipped with a spring hinge for comfort, it offers a selection of interesting colours. The “bold” look is a current trend and this frame makes a strong statement. Also new is Metropolitan women’s style 8074 in stainless steel, characterised by a soft hexagonal shape with slightly deeper lens proportions, which echoes the concept of model 8073. Fine steps on the eye rim create a subtly sophisticated look.

Metropolitan Eyewear is a collection designed for urban trendsetters, people who are completely in sync with the trends and “who have both feet on the ground”.
