ESCHENBACH OPTIK and Tom Tailor have agreed to jointly launch the new licensed brand TOM TAILOR Eyewear. From August 2025, the Nuremberg-based company Eschenbach Optik will showcase the timeless casualness of the Hanseatic brand Tom Tailor in a collection of sunglasses and optical frames in what they describe as “a trend-conscious and innovative context”.
Dr Peter Braunhofer, CEO of Eschenbach Optik GmbH: “We are looking forward to a successful collaboration with Tom Tailor and to contributing our expertise as one of the market leaders in eyewear. Strong in character, true to our own look, but always modern: The partnership with Tom Tailor is an important step in the further development of Eschenbach Optik”.
Gernot Lenz, CEO Tom Tailor GmbH said: “The partnership with Eschenbach Optik underlines Tom Tailor’s continuous endeavour to bring innovative and brand-appropriate products to the market and to further strengthen the brand’s position in the lifestyle and fashion segment”.
The launch of the first TOM TAILOR Eyewear collection is planned for summer next year. The wide range of frames and sunglasses will be available in selected opticians, while a selection of fashionable sunglasses will also be available in Tom Tailor stores and online. True to Tom Tailor’s philosophy of “casual wear as conviction”, this partnership unites both companies’ vision of a casual, modern attitude, the companies stated.
