Longchamp Eyewear has announced a new capsule collection, featuring two sunglasses and two optical styles made from 40% Plant-Based Resin. The material, which is made from castor bean oil, is described as a cleaner alternative to standard petroleum-based plastics. With this collection, Longchamp eyewear draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic Voyageuse handbag, to bring a trendy and sophisticated interpretation of the brand’s signature pattern to the eyewear offering. All four styles are designed using Plant-Based Resin without sacrificing the quality and premium feel for which the brand is known. The four styles are characterized by vintage-inspired frame-fronts designed in modern and contemporary shapes, and have a new LGP temple design with a tone-on-tone effect for the iconic monogram of the brand. All styles are offered in Black, Brown, Blue and Wine and are available through select retailers, select Longchamp boutiques and online. The line is produced by MARCHON. /
