CARRERA Signature chic

Carrera’s new SIGNATURE sunglasses and optical frames feature contemporary yet vintage-inspired round or drop shapes in metal, infused with the brand’s on trend style and a distinctive urban personality.
The styles feature a subtle special texturized metal spoiler, adding sophistication to the design. Stamped with the CARRERA iconic FLAG detail and logo on the slim metal temples with long acetate tip, the frames are subtly personalized also by the C-logo inside the internal left end-tip: the finishing touches making the difference. Model 20-50 comes in size 53-18-145 and features tinted lenses to highlight their unique shape and the negative space created by the stainless steel eyerims. NEUBAU EYEWEAR 100% Bio-based in natural3D

Model Alain is one of the three bio-based models from neubau eyewear in the Côte du Soleil collection. The special edition designs have been produced using the latest 3D printing technology and sustainable processing. The Côte du Soleil special edition collection pays homage to the freedom and romanticism of the 1960s, along the French Riviera and has been inspired by ‘La Piscine’, the cult film by Jacques Deray, released in 1969. All three models - Romy, Alain and Maurice – are named after characters from ‘La Piscine’; the striking shaped frames come in a choice of two colour variations each.

MARNI Bird’s eye view

Vintage allure and modern sophistication fuse in the new Marni sunglasses, where smooth materials and vivid tonal contrasts give the cat-eye shape a new creative vibe. The signature colour blocking concept, an iconic theme in Marni’s eyewear collection evolves with an innovative design approach that plays with sharp cuts and mixed hues. The frame-front combines different blocks of acetate, in juxtaposing colours to form a geometrical cat-eye shape that adds a high graphic impact to the retro feel. The acetate elements are joined together through a careful crafting process, while the oval lenses and monochrome tapered temples complete the look.

VINYL FACTORY Pure and stylish

Vinyl Factory describes their Bloomgarden frame as a “pure design gem”. The model has an ultra feminine styling in chic translucent acetate with a graduated coloration and interesting inner rim detail which gives lift at the sides of the eye shape. Bloomgarden is part of a family of acetate frames with a refined, technical finish and attractive modern look. The frames feature the hallmark guitar neck shaped end-tips which are inspired by the Fender guitar. Each frame is hand-made with finishes such as laser engraving and metal colouring and plating. Colours in the line are generally inspired by pop art to create a unique universe with room for bold creativity and new ideas.

EOE EYEWEAR Anniversary special

As part of the 2020 Anniversary collection, EOE Eyewear have released a new round version of the Abisko style with a feminine yet minimal design. The frame features the U-shape of the Lapponian Gate, a striking element of the local landscape around the northern village of Abisko, after which the frame has been named. EOE Eyewear specialises in sustainable designs and continues to develop their concepts with focus on recyclable, bio-degradable frames and frames made from old waste eyewear – now available in their REGRIND collections. In 2020, EOE Eyewear celebrates 10 years in optics led by founders Erik and Emilia Lindmark. The company is now based in Stockholm.

SILHOUETTE 70’s infused

Silhouette’s new Titan Accent Shades model offers two eye-catching variations for women and one unisex design, the Titan Accent Shades reignites a distinctive ‘70s flair. Inspired by the wings of the giant blue Morpho butterfly, gently curved lenses are brought to life by beautifully styled accents, whilst being seamlessly contrasted with Silhouette’s iconic lightweight temples. Taking Silhouette’s renowned rimless chassis, the Titan Accent Shades have been enhanced by cut-out outer rings, adding a touch of nostalgic charm. Model 8173 offers a wider shape for women. The subtle cat-eye silhouette comes in feminine colours available in the form of a refreshing glossy rose as well as a new tricolour green whilst a polarised grey and brown gradient offers a classic look.

LAFONT PARIS Pattern expertise

Model Gauloise by Lafont Paris embodies the unique qualities of this French label’s work in colour and pattern. Each colour combination has a different expression, achieved through special acetate laminations and a selection of tonal contrasts which highlight the artistic foundation of the Lafont family legacy, now under the creative direction of Thomas Lafont. Lafont frames are produced in exclusive acetate or metal materials with focus on attention to detail, the balance of the design and the uniformity and harmony of the colour scheme. The traditional French manufacture requires over 100 steps for the production of one pair of glasses, and rigorous fine-tuning and manual finishing.
