A new co-designed sunglasses collection for Spring/Summer 2024 has been launched on 30th May, between Edwin and Messy Weekend, focusing on sustainability at the core of the concept. Designed with an edgy look, the frames featured are described as being made in “handmade premium acetate in a 200-step manual process”. With full UV/AB 400 protection, special design features include nickel-free 3 to 5-barrel hinges. Classic tones of tortoise, black and blue tortoise are prolific frame colours, paired with some bright lens tones of orange and red or standard black.
Messy Weekend is a Danish eyewear brand that “combines style with sustainability”. Their full range of sunglasses and prescription glasses are made from recycled and bio-based materials, and feature classic designs with a modern twist, with focus on affordability.
Edwin Europe is a clothing range and “the home of Japanese denim”.
