DIVEL has released its new RE-LIVE lens, a sustainable demo lens born from the desire to achieve ambitious goals in the eyewear industry, in which issues such as innovation, sustainability and the environment are of ever-greater relevance, they explain. The lens is produced from 50% certified recycled content made out of a mixture of polyester waste diverted from landfills and the environment.

“Environmental sustainability is crucial in this day and age, and we are seeing ever-increasing numbers of sustainable products in an effort to minimize environmental impact,” the company states. “After developing sun filters using sustainable materials, Divel Italia has now added this sustainable demo lens to our product range.”

The lens has been created by combining the technical and commercial talents of DIVEL ITALIA with the know-how of EASTMAN in producing the raw material.

As well as offering good performance and a “superior look and feel” the lenses have been designed with a range of benefits such as offering an unmatched combination of impact strength and chemical resistance to skin oils.
