DICK MOBY, the sustainable brand founded in 2014 by Tim Holland and Robbert Wefers Bettink, two Amsterdam-based surfers and designers, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the introduction of a limited collection of sunglasses crafted from their own surplus stock.
In this endeavour, leftover materials from previous collections have been repurposed to create a unique pair of sunglasses in a colour scheme that will never be reproduced. The Co-Founders say that recycling of surplus stock seamlessly aligns with the brand’s vision.
We are part of the fashion industry, where overproduction and waste contribute to significant environmental issues. And that's something we do not want to be a part of

The unique sunglasses series comprises two different models, each released in a limited edition of only 69 pieces. They are available at an exclusive selection of retail outlets.
To support the launch of the limited Dick Moby 10 year anniversary collection, a fun video was launched in which the production process of recycling eyewear is shown – with a little help from the brand’s friends over at the A-Team.
Founded in 2014 by Tim Holland & Robbert Wefers Bettink, Dick Moby exemplifies how fashion and environmental responsibility can coexist without compromising, the brand stated. With a vision of a waste-free world, the brand exclusively uses recycled and biodegradable materials to create high-quality eyewear – designed in Amsterdam and handmade in Italy.
