Davide Degl’Incerti Tocci is new President of DaTE

Davide Degl’Incerti Tocci, current ANFAO vice president responsible for the Gruppo Giovani, digitization and internationalization, as well as CEO of Nannini Italian Quality, is the new president of DaTE, the eyewear event focused on the avantgarde and innovation, set to take place on 13th to 15th September 2025.

“My thanks to ANFAO and MIDO president, Lorraine Berton, for this appointment and for her trust in allowing me the opportunity to modernize a show so crucial to the Italian market”, stated new president Degl’Incerti Tocci. “I enthusiastically accepted the DaTE presidency and will invest the same spirit in my work with the team, already actively focused on 2025. Key words like avantgarde, creativity, audacity, cross-fertilization, inspiration, originality and research – that have enabled DaTE to succeed on the domestic stage in a well-defined niche – will be our mainstays”, continued the president.

“But, for the next edition, new ideas and concepts will be reflected in all aspects of the event – its location, format, and vital business opportunities, expanded based on market needs. DaTE is truly a unique occasion for the entire eyewear system: for exhibitors, who will find fertile ground to cultivate their ambitions and experimentation; and, for visitors – first and foremost Italy’s opticians – who will discover avenues by which to diversify their product lines, all in an atmosphere rich with valuable insights”, he concluded.
