DaTE, the Italian eyewear show, will take place in Riccione

DaTE, the Italian eyewear show, will take place again from 13th to 15th September 2025 in Riccione in Italy, moving from Florence where it has originally taken place. The event will have a renewed format to meet the new needs of this challenging sector, the organisers stated.
“We chose Riccione for several reasons: first of all, it is a city that fits perfectly with the concept of our event – explains the president of DaTE Davide Degl’Incerti Tocci together with the founding members Cristina Frasca and Dante Caretti. Due to its history linked to design, its openness to innovation and its sophisticated and at the same time provocative lifestyle, Riccione has long been a point of reference that attracts creatives, trendsetters and experimenters, just like our exhibitors and buyers”.
Riccione can be reached easily by train or car and Rimini International Airport is just a few kilometres away, making it accessible even for those arriving from abroad. The mild climate of mid-September, together with a rich and qualified 360-degree accommodation offer, creates the ideal conditions to promote business meetings and networking opportunities, the show organisers say.
“There is still a bit of suspense for the location chosen in Riccione – concludes the president. In the meantime, we are planning the next editions and we can already anticipate that DaTE will stop in Naples, Rome, Milan and Bologna”.
