A new short film from BRETT Eyewear illustrates the essence of the eyewear brand’s products, “the fruit of a combination of aesthetics and technology” and the making of the collection in Japan. According to the company, most BRETT frames are crafted from Grade 1 Japanese titanium. The titanium is cut, carved and sculpted with an approach that “reflects BRETT’s quest for excellence, a commitment to authenticity.” Each piece of eyewear is fashioned in workshops where craftsmanship blends with cutting-edge engineering. This union of know-how and innovation is at the heart of BRETT Eyewear’s DNA and the focal point of the short film. Meticulous manual operations, such as brushing and polishing the Monobloc titanium glasses, takes place to give each one a singular and authentic identity.
Through the film, BRETT also wishes to express the company’s emphasis on details. “Our subtle touches make all the difference, and we believe that excellence lies in extreme precision,” says the team at BRETT Eyewear. “Every step of the way, from design to production, is the result of a rigorous process. First, our French designs are infused with emblematic mechanical icons and celebrate a timeless heritage. Creativity fuelled by passion enables our designers to reinterpret classics to evoke emotion.”The film was directed by Maxence Massaro.
