According to the brand’s latest press release, the new collection from Andy Wolf is an interplay of soft boldness and French flair. Expressive acetate frames, unusual metal frames as an extension of the Èlevated line and new combination frames as well as multi-faceted sunglasses – Andy Wolf claims to be “setting many trends for the coming season”.
One design detail stands out in particular this season: a stepped concept in which layers of material are milled away to create a three-dimensional effect, revealing interesting plays of colour and making the styles shine. The effect can be found on bold styles such as model 4641, 5156 or 5157 as well as on the Vanda and Salix sunglasses.
The famous Vienna Bridge Club, a location designed by the legendary Austrian architect Adolf Loos, was chosen for the shoot. The historic ambience of the club lends the campaign a special atmosphere and emphasizes the connection between timeless architecture and modern eyewear design. Austrian top model Helena Severin was staged for the campaign by stylist Simon Winkelmüller and photographer Yannick Schütte.
