AKONI has participated as a partner in FuoriConcorso 2026, presenting an immersive brand destination at Villa del Grumello, on the shores of Lake Como, during the weekend of 16th –17th May. Centered on this year’s theme, “KraftMeister,” the 2026 edition of FuoriConcorso celebrated the culture of German engineering through a dialogue between craftsmanship, technical mastery, and timeless design—values that perfectly align with AKONI’s philosophy, founded on Swiss precision, Japanese craftsmanship, and contemporary innovation. Recognized as one of the most prestigious events in the international automotive and design scene, FuoriConcorso brings together collectors, designers, engineers, and luxury brands in a cultural exchange where automotive excellence, craftsmanship, and contemporary lifestyle converge.
In this context, AKONI presented an immersive experience aimed at exploring the connections between eyewear, automotive culture, and contemporary design. Structured around the themes of precision, performance, and craftsmanship, the installation guided guests through a sensorial journey that combined visual, tactile, and olfactory elements inspired by the worlds that define the AKONI universe, the company explained. From the engineering of the brand’s components and materials to references to automotive performance and Japanese culture, the experience invited visitors to connect with AKONI through a refined balance of technical details, atmosphere, and sensorial exploration—reflecting the brand’s approach to luxury which it describes as “essential, sophisticated, and uncompromising”.
