AHLEM has announced the release of its Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, featuring ten styles that explore the power and clarity of straight lines and defined edges.
The new collection is the latest iteration of AHLEM’s timeless eyewear, which fuses French craftsmanship with a minimalist sensibility. For designer Ahlem Manai-Platt, the collection’s horizontal lines carry personal significance, representing the comfort of resolution after a period of transition.
After years of shuttling between Los Angeles (where she was formerly based), New York, Paris and Tokyo, the designer has settled into full-time life in her native Paris. Autumn/Winter 2023 is the first collection entirely conceived and produced in France following the designer’s transatlantic move. The lines running throughout the collection convey this newfound continuity and the certainty of being established in one place.
The frames are available for purchase online and in AHLEM ateliers in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Paris.
