100% OPTICAL: a third wave of CPD Optical and Ophthalmology sessions

100% Optical has announced another line-up of CPD sessions in collaboration with the Association of Optometrists (AOP).

As the industry’s new CPD cycle enters its third year, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the GOC’s requirements at an early stage in 2024, consolidate and update their knowledge on key clinical topics and make career enhancing connections.

Within the show’s Future Practice Hubs, visitors can find the three following areas, all providing useful workshops, discussions and peer review sessions:

Consulting Room – Sponsored by SpaMedica, and will feature an array of discussion workshops with a focus on OCT interpretation (optical coherence tomography).

Diagnostics Suite – Sponsored by Newmedica, over the three days this hub will showcase the following talking points ‘Intraocular Lens Choice – Weighing up the Options’, ‘Effective Communication – the Key to Unlocking Excellent Patient Experiences and Health Outcomes’ and ‘The Spice of Life – a Variety of Cases from General Ophthalmology’.

Contact Lens Hub – Sponsored by Alcon, this dedicated area will be home to many peer reviews covering astigmatism and the importance of contact lenses.

Earlier this year, 100% Optical announced the launch of a dedicated Ophthalmology exhibition. Attendees can also visit the Ophthalmology Hub to experience a number of opportunities to network and connect with other parts of the optical community as well as gain insight and knowledge into intuitive topics such as driving digital transformation for your glaucoma and cataract patient pathways.

The event takes place on 24th to 26th February 2024 at EXCEL LONDON.
