The French company dedicated to collections produced for independent opticians announces its new line – Steve McQueen. The licence, which is endorsed by the McQueen family in New York is an expression of Steve McQueen’s iconic style. “I am so happy to see that my grandfather’s style is still being imitated today,” says granddaughter Molly McQueen.
“The reason he was called the king of cool is largely due to his fashion sense.” According to MMC’, the opportunity to launch an eyewear collection under the Steve McQueen name has allowed the France-based eyewear producer to convey the values of elegance, high standards and freedom that are dear to them, “not forgetting the values of friendship, family and simplicity that they have shared for many years.”
The Steve McQueen collection by MMC’ was pre-launched at Silmo in 2019 and has been in distribution to optical retailers since January 2020.
