A new program at RETROSUPERFUTURE takes new, unworn frames that are still in stock and adds a more contemporary functional aspect to the concept. RSF PLUS is the brand’s environmentally friendly “upcycling” project: monofocal reading glasses are mounted on Italian crafted frames at a flat fee of 79 euros, delivered directly to one’s door. Due to the nature of the project, the company says that the availability of the product is limited and determined by how many designs are left in stock. Once a style is sold out, it will be replaced by new products of the same shape category: Round, Square or Cat Eye. There will be no new production but new selections will become available from the company archive. Initially, the models include Round 1, a polished essential design characterised by round lenses, slender rims and a straight nose bridge. Conceived for everyday use, this minimal and geometric model comes in a shiny black acetate, classic Havana and ecru – timeless tones that suit all lifestyles.
