Paul Smith has launched the second collection of eyewear with Cutler and Gross with focus on craft and attention to detail. Handcrafted in the Italian Dolomites, the new sunglass and optical collection follows a rigorous manufacturing process, according to the company. The second collection sees the introduction of two combination frames, Barber and Birch, designed with adjustable nose pads to make them versatile and easy to wear. The tones of metal and acetate have been chosen to effortlessly complement each other and mirror Paul Smith’s love of colour. Exciting new design innovations take form in coloured supra cords on both optical and sun frames Belmont and Brixham, to offer a bold statement. In addition, new two- toned lenses and stripes created by the natural layers within acetate frames build on Paul Smith’s design signature. The most striking acetate pairs classic tortoiseshell with the artist stripe the brand is well known for.
Each acetate is developed by Mazzucchelli and provide the perfect backdrop for the striking array of sun lenses from Dalloz in France.
