The 90s are back: filigree eyewear classics

This month, Austrian eyewear label neubau eyewear launches a modern take on two design classics.
The new models Virginia and Roland revisit the nickel-rimmed glasses style of the 90s. neubau eyewear is presenting extravagant everyday glasses in filigree stainless steel that are comfortable enough for all-day wear.
Both models are available as either optical frames or sunglasses.
With their blend of futuristic, yet timeless design, the minimalistic rims have just as much appeal today. Virginia, the women’s model, gives the wearer a delicate and feminine look with its trademark upward pointing shape. Fashionistas will fondly remember the slender cat-eye styles worn in the 90s as popular statement pieces. With its oval shape, Roland, the unisex model, subtly emphasizes the wearer’s style and facial features without drawing too much attention to itself. The filigree model, also made of stainless steel, is the epitome of minimalism. Both the Virginia and Roland models come in three metallic colour variations. Virginia is available as an optical model for corrective lenses in rose matte, glorious gold and black ink matte and Roland comes in graphite, glorious gold and black ink matte. The sunglasses variations of Virginia and Roland are available in rose matte, glorious gold and black ink matte, as well as eclectic silver, gold matte and black ink matte.
Made with high-quality stainless steel, Virginia and Roland are both flexible as well as robust. The material is renowned for its durability and resilience.
