Lightec explores 3D printed material

French eyewear company Morel has launched their first 3D frames in the Lightec Collection, a range of eyewear that focuses on comfort and lightness. The new 3D printed designs combine Polyamide fronts and beta titanium temples that weigh 10 grams and offer excellent flexibility.
The design of each frame is such that they are easily glazed and adjusted by an optician.
The new collection featuring Polyamide also boasts Morel’s Omicron hinge system, a flexible patented hinge design by the French company. The frame collection – with styles for men and women - comes in a palette of deep hues, obtained by infusing the colour into the heart of the material for a bright and intense finish.
