Lool Eyewear has launched a new frame design inspired by Casa Vicens, Gaudi’s first great architectural work. Casa Vicens is a modernist building located in Barcelona, on Carrer de las Carolinas 18-24 (Gracia district). Playing with the geometric shapes and inspired by the mixtures of colours and materials, the brand has worked on a concept which emerges as a special tribute to the extraordinary work. The new LOOL glasses which are “built in Barcelona” are a mixture of steel coated with PVD and covered with lacquered surfaces and engraved in geometric motifs inspired directly from the house designs. Its colours are extracted from the facade embellishing an oversized, sophisticated and striking pair of sunglasses with Lool’s typical technical detail and attention to quality finishing and design.
