Carol Lim & Humberto Leon, creative directors of KENZO, have presented their first eyewear collection made in collaboration with LVMH eyewear expert Thélios. For the new collection, the American-duo looked towards the high energy and fun roots of the nearly 50-year-old fashion house.
The styles blend the Parisian confidence and Californian cool of the KENZO label. The vibrant colours of the sunglasses echo the fluorescent check suits and patterned dresses from the brand’s SS19 silhouettes. Shaking up the codes of KENZO, this very diverse first release plays with distinctive shapes and futuristic influences. The result reflects KENZO’s vibrant personality: both unexpected and eclectic.
Thélios is born from the will of the LVMH group, world leader in luxury, to penetrate the eyewear sector and the expertise of Marcolin Group in the creation of unique frames that can faithfully combine Italian design and craftsmanship with the core values of each business.
