Kids's world

The ic! berlin design team worked closely with kids, parents and opticians to develop a line of eyewear tailored to the needs of adolescent faces and lifestyles.
Because they are not yet fully developed, younger faces need different proportions and fits in their eyewear, particularly around the bridge.
Made from 0,5mm sprung stainless steel and featuring models coated with hypo-allergenic rubber, these frames will survive being sat on, stepped on, school bags, and summer camps, says the company.

The accompanying packaging – featuring illustrations by Berlin-based artist Sophia Melone – is designed to be re-purposed and reused at school, at home and at play.
