Spanish label GIGI Studios has presented its first collection of the year, including an impressive 25 new models to meet the brand’s requirements of quality and sophisticated design.
10 new models have been added to GIGI Studios Optical Collection.
Five are made in acetate and five in stainless steel, with vintage-inspired silhouettes, using thick, warm acetates with very detailed laminations.
For women, the brand has created models such as the square Malva frame or cat-eye designs Patti and Greta.
For men, one of the highlights is the square-shaped model Jaques, with a significant thickness of acetate on the upper third. A return of the successful Brooks model is also included in the new shades line with an improved design. In stainless steel, Daniele, Naomi and Luzia stand out, three light, oversized models for women.
For men, David has become the optical version of the successful sunglasses, while Javuar, an aviator model offers a cool upper bridge and acetate detail at the centre.
The GIGI Studios Sun Collection has also has been extended with nine models, of which six are made in acetate and three in stainless steel.
In acetate, the cat-eye models with sumptuous laminations and interesting colour combinations stand out, along with another line of rounded models, with more classical shapes, in sophisticated translucent shades.
In stainless steel, the three models, Jana, Amber and Jagger include the parallel lines that add a touch of sophistication to the rims. This is a detail that already existed on another six models from the brand’s previous collection and that has had a good reception, according to the company. Gigi Studios LAB, a collection that is the result of research into new materials and technological advances, added to the brand’s extensive experience, has increased with six models made in high density acetate. This is described as the lightest, most minimal and sophisticated collection from GIGI Studios, both for men and women.
