JOOLY, an eyewear label designed by French company OXIBIS, announces a new sunglasses collection using mixed materials. The four sunglasses models - which include round and oval shapes - feature an interesting construction: the basic design consists of slim rims and a bridge in gold or rose gold metal. Depending on the individual model, these are either inserted into an acetate frame, or embellished with a raised matt metal brow bar. The second version offers a mix of matt/gloss contrasts, from the front to the very end of the tips.
To create a soft look, JOOLY has selected delicate ‘powder’ shades, alongside acetate tortoiseshells or black/gold metal versions, ‘for a more assertive effect’.
Two of the models are embellished with decorative plant patterns in gold, at the corner of the eye.
In a gold flash finish, graduated plum, or smoked or photochromic versions, the lenses have also been selected carefully to seamlessly match the frame, says the company.
