In 2017 Perry Ellis International announced a multi-year partnership for Farah eyewear with INSPECS Group, global eyewear design house and manufacturer.
The new Farah eyewear collection launched at MIDO in March, bringing iconic optical and sunglasses silhouettes with a modern Farah twist under the brand known for its iconic gold F.
This premium menswear brand has its roots in the USA, but Farah’s present and future is British, according to INSPECS.
Founded in 1920 as a workwear brand, the original Farah slack trouser made from hopsack canvas became a real hit with British style tribes in music and fashion during the 1970s. For the Mods, Casuals and Rockabillies of the 70s through to the Britpop artists of the 90s, Farah was the brand of choice and the famous Gold F a badge of honour.
Farah’s eyewear silhouettes take modern iconic men’s shapes and carefully tailor them to bring craft, personality and individuality, but also utility and fashion convention.
There are a range of sizes and fits, including universally adjustable nose pads on acetate frames, and larger men’s fit sizing. Farah eyewear colours reflect the classic apparel staples Farah Navy, Asphalt, Bordeaux, Evergreen, Black Ink, allowing men to dress well without trying. Farah Eyewear is produced by INSPECS – KILLINE GROUP.
