MODO’s AW21 collection explores bold shapes, rich textures and faceted rims to create unexpected shades and combinations. Thanks to their sophisticated R&D and cutting-edge technologies, MODO reinterprets the timeless look and feel of acetate frames through the use of innovative materials. The result is a bold design statement that is surprisingly light and flexible, according to the company. On selected styles, the frame construction is completed by MODO’s patented screwless hidden hinge for a perfect combination of refined design and functionality. MODO’s new collection unveils a new approach to minimalism where bold meets light, clean lines are enriched with texture, colour and expressivity.

R 1000 + TITANIUM AW21

For optical, in the R1000 and Titanium AW lines, the first new design this season is the men’s rounded square 7047. It has a thicker cut for a bold look and is also designed with TR90 temples for a lightweight profile. This frame is styled in four colour combinations including shiny dark grey, green tortoise, blue, and matte black with a special vertical-laser texture. The women’s angular 7049 has the same bold look as 7047, with plastic temples and an angled top brow line for a faceted effect. The unisex pantos 7050 is a classic style featuring a keyhole bridge and flexible Beta-titanium temples. This frame has four colour choices, including red and black tortoise gradient shades. It has a matte dark grey option with vertical-texture laser detailing on the front. AW21’s new R 1000 + Titanium sun shape also features new innovations and is fitted with the High Chromatic Definition polarized lenses for colour clarity. 705 is a men’s rounded square with TR90 temples for the full R 1000 look and is designed in four colour combinations: shiny greyish blue, teal, brown, and matte black.
