Individuality and a mood of rock’n’roll

Following the Spring 2018 launch of Ørgreen’s first Acetate collection, the much- anticipated Acetate Sun collection will be unveiled at Silmo, featuring ten new, rock ‘n’ roll inspired styles. In the same manner as with Ørgreen’s first take on the versatile material, the company’s skilled design team has embraced the adaptability of cellulose acetate to bring it to life in a collection that encompasses the brand’s focus on innovation in contemporary eyewear design.
The new Acetate Sun collection has an unmistakable ability to highlight and compliment individual personality traits, according to the company.
No matter the choice of frame, from
the sophisticated look of mode Vamp, to the all time classic square shape of model Axe, the new Acetate line by Ørgreen has been designed to embody ‘individuality and a mood of rock’n’roll’.
Light, flexible and sporting an interesting colour adaptability, acetate proved to be the perfect playground for Ørgreen’s enterprise with colour in many different variants.
The in-house colorist has explored unique combinations of patterns such as the grey orange marble of model Kick, the grey silver rain of model Jam or the ingenious crystal silver thread running through the Ride frame.
With five frames for men and five frames for women, the classic design
of the collection is meant to be suited to all wearers. The noticeable red thread in the new Acetate release is elegance, with tasteful and playful insertions of edge, only to reinforce Ørgreen’s pledge to innovate with a fresh, alternative interpretation of minimalist designs.
Less is more is the mantra behind Ørgreen’s understated approach to elegance. Innovative colours, discrete details and exceptional materials are the signature traits defining the Danish eyewear company which is driven by relentless curiosity and a profound desire to do things differently.
