Essequadro has announced their acquisition of JPLUS, the Italian brand. Launched in 2009 by Alessandro Martire the brand, which was inspired by the Beat Generation, dedicates its attention to Music, Cinema, Art and Design. Vincent Gallo, David Bowie and Lady Gaga, among others, have worn JPLUS glasses and the collections are now sold in 16 international markets, with strong support from the fashion industry.
As well as the acquisition, Essequadro has announced that creator of JPLUS Alessandro Martire will be an integral part of the new company structure.
“In our constantly evolving artisan factory,” says Marketing Manager Francesco Festa, “the transition from conception to production is immediate. For JPLUS this is an excellent setting and opportunity to re-launch the original spirit and the feeling of the line and build complex and unique collections for the future.”
On 15-16th December 2019, at The NB Center for American Automotive History in Sarteano (SI), Essequadro will present the new JPLUS collection to its sales network. In Milan, in March 2020, the company will present the S/S 20 line to customers with a public event.
